I have been lingering on this forum for some time now. Anyone who has a keen interest in cabinetry and kitchen production, here is where you can find a wealth of knowledge and support.
Many of the users are established companies sharing info, ideas, bouncing questions and problems around for general consumption.

<![CDATA[New machinery Investment]]>Sat, 19 Jan 2013 19:03:43 GMThttps://www.templecarpentry.co.uk/blog/new-machinery-investmentHere in the workshop, we are feeling the strain of labour time vs productivity and profitability. Thats why since November 2012, 75% of our profits has been pumped back into the workshop in the form of new machinery. We have invested in a new panel saw (refurbed SCM MiniMax SC4W ) which opens up a new door for producing high quality kitchen carcasses for our bespoke kitchens. It also removes room for waste as the new scribing facility which the saw features, allows for cleaner cuts and less chipping than the former saw we worked with.

We also invested in a new edgebander (refurb SCM MiniMax ME15), which brings automation to the workshop which is a great and important step for the business. This means now that we can increase productivity in the workshop and also acieve better edge finishing for our cut and edged boards.
We are really trying to push our progression from a small business to a more established business and are pleased that we have had the opportunity to re-invest in ourselves.

<![CDATA[Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes]]>Thu, 04 Oct 2012 16:14:23 GMThttps://www.templecarpentry.co.uk/blog/bespoke-fitted-wardrobesPicture
Having lots of interest in our bespoke fitted wardrobes. We have just completed out third set in Kent since July. The fitted wardrobe pictured here is our most recent bespoke wardrobe completed for some great new customers who i am sure we will be seeing again in the future.

We offer a vast array of finishes on our materials. For our fitted wardrobes made from manufactured timbers, we offer coloured laquers from a dulux or farrow and ball range where we can match the swatch/sample. All of the laquered finishes are wipe clean and so easy to maintain. Most of the laquers come with a 5 year manufacturers guarantee for durability. Other options include Farrow and Ball emulsion finishes, and on our natural timbers such as oak, ash, walnut and zebrano, we usually advise a hardwax/light clear laquer to preserve the beauty of the timber.

Along with our bespoke fitted wardrobes, we also make furniture to match such as beds, chests of drawers, cabinets and much more. Of course you are more than welcome to contact us with any enquiries that you might have. To see more pictures of the bespoke fitted wardrobes above, click here!

<![CDATA[This Technology ]]>Sat, 29 Sep 2012 06:41:40 GMThttps://www.templecarpentry.co.uk/blog/this-technologyIt might seem like a gimmick on a cheap saw, but if they implemented a more intelligent version of this (not the key isolator, that's pointless) into current H&S Machine Legislation, we would be yet another step closer to a safer work environment.
